Safety Culture

At Turn Services, we have created a safety culture that encourages every employee to improve the level of safety in all aspects of our operations.

This culture is built upon the premise of every employee showing leadership in safety by watching out for each other, participating in continuous training, not taking shortcuts, practicing safe work habits and giving suggestions on ways to improve safety for everyone.

Devlin Award

Five Turn Services vessels received the Jones F. Devlin Award on June 8, 2016.
Certificates are awarded to all manned merchant vessels that have operated for two full years or more without a crew member losing a full turn at watch because of an occupational injury.

The M/V Citation, M/V Sir Barton and the M/V Ruffian crews received the Devlin Award for reaching the two-year milestone.  In addition, the M/V War Admiral received the award for reaching the three-year milestone. The M/V Seattle Slew received the award for reaching the five-year milestone. This is yet

another example of the total commitment to safety that is emphasized at Turn Services!
